What does “Custom Color” really include?

Every color service at The Salty Blonde is fully customized to you. Your selected service—Refresh (Partial), Deluxe (Full), or The Works (Transformational)—is designed to give your stylist complete creative freedom to use any techniques necessary to achieve your desired result.

This may include any and all combinations of highlighting, lowlighting, tip-outs, wet balayage, glossing, and seamless blending—whatever is needed to create a dimensional, elevated, and cohesive final look within your chosen service placement.

We don’t believe in color “add-ons.” Everything your hair needs to achieve your goal is already included in your custom color experience—so there’s no guessing, no piecing services together, and no limitations on the artistry behind your result.

What is a VISH service charge??

Each of our services includes an industry-standard amount of color—designed to achieve the typical result for that service. If your hair requires more product than that standard (due to density, added brightness/dimension, or going longer between appointments), we use our Vish measuring system to track every gram used with precision.

The Vish charge simply reflects your individual usage above that included allotment. While many salons apply a flat “extra bowl” fee, our system removes the guesswork and only charges for the exact additional color used on your hair—at cost, with no markup.

This approach allows us to keep our base pricing consistent for all clients, while ensuring your service is tailored fairly to your specific hair needs—no across-the-board price increases, just true customization.
